From the time of our founding, Alpha Delta Pi has believed in the importance of giving back to our community. A dedication to philanthropy guides our members to spend time in the service of those who need it most. Our international organization’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities has led to the donation of over $15,000,000 over the course of our partnership. More than 350 Ronald McDonald Houses in 64 countries help keep families with seriously ill or injured children together when they need it most by offering them a comfortable, temporary residence in proximity to a medical facility.

Our international organization’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities has led to the donation of over $15,000,000 over the course of our partnership. More than 350 Ronald McDonald Houses in 64 countries help keep families with seriously ill or injured children together when they need it most by offering them a comfortable, temporary residence in proximity to a medical facility.
One of the most important values to the women of Pi Chapter is service, and we engage in numerous philanthropic activities, both within the Iowa State community and beyond. Each year, we host a handful of philanthropy events to support this cause, whether it is organizing a silent auction, hosting events in our home! Perhaps our favorite and most rewarding aspect of working with the Ronald McDonald House Charities is being able to physically visit one of the RMH facilities located in Des Moines. During these visits, our sisters cook meals for families, deep clean the house, and count pop tabs that can be redeemed for cash! We feel extremely fortunate to not only be able to make financial contributions towards this wonderful organization, but to participate in a hands-on capacity, as well.
